Winery notes (2024 Vintage)
"This Shiraz delivers bold dark-fruits along with rich red-berry concentrates. Touches of subtle oak and pepper complete the palate, supported by a fine
tannin structure.
The Coonawarra, Padthaway and Wrattonbully vineyards are all grown on free-draining Terra Rossa soils, producing rich ripe berry fruit flavours with abundant ripe tannins. The Robe vineyard, located on a sandy loam soil and with it’s close proximity to the ocean produces vibrant perfumed spiced berry aromas and flavours that add floral complexity, spice and natural acidity to the final blend of our Limestone Coast Shiraz."
5 Stars & 95/100 Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, February 2026 (2024 Vintage)
"Upfront and enticing, the bouquet shows black and purple fruit intensity, vanilla, rich floral, star anise, and cedar characters. The palate displays excellent weight and succulent fruit flavours, beautifully complemented by fleshy texture and silky tannins, finishing wonderfully long and delectable. At its best: now to 2036."
92/100 Ken Gargett, WinePilot.com, May 2026 (2024 Vintage)
"From a single vineyard in the Limestone Coast region, there is lots to like here. A deep blood red hue with a purple rim, at this stage the nose is a little reticent, but given time, we should see an array of aromas emerge. Look for hints of red fruits, wild raspberries, coffee grinds, cold tea and dried herbs. There are already hints of blackberries on the finish. The wine is of medium length with a sleek texture and firm tannins. It should continue to impress over the next eight to ten years."
