Primitivo / Zinfandel

Zinfandel and Primotivo are identical twins, genetically-speaking, but differences of wine-making styles and terroir of their primary growing locations have resulted in unique expressions of this red. Californian Zinfandel is characteristically sweeter, smoother and more alcoholic, while Italian Primitivo, not as fruity and sweet, is big on soft rich structure and spice.

Excellent wine store! Probably the best in town. You can find wall kinds of wine and from around the world. I even found a wine from my hometown Uruguay which is not easy to find at all on this side of the globe.

I had been searching for a very specific wine and I finally found it here. Not only did they have the wine I was searching for, they had a beautiful collection of other wines.
