Vino Fino runs weekly wine tastings most Tuesdays at 6.00 pm at our Christchurch store on Durham Street.
Imagine arriving at a winery cellar door and being welcomed straight into a guided tasting, complete with the “top shelf” wines and perhaps even a little something special from “out the back”. Hosted by the winemaker, marketing manager, or even the owner themselves, you get the inside story on the people, the place, and the wine.
Sounds special? That’s exactly the experience you can expect at our Vino Fino tastings, whether you’re a curious newcomer or a seasoned regular.
Bookings (email or in person – sorry not online) are required for these – Credit card details required at the time of booking, with payment on the night.
Please advise if not attending as we usually have a waiting list.
Note we accept cancellations up until 5pm the day before the tasting, otherwise, the card will be charged for any “no shows” Thank you.

Our multi producer tastings have proven incredibly popular, so we are excited to bring you another evening exploring one of New Zealand’s most fascinating wine regions.
This time, we turn our attention to the wonderful wines of the Waitaki Valley. Join us for an informative and enjoyable evening as we discover the unique character of this cool climate region, tasting through nine wines from three of its standout producers: Dragon Bones, Te Kano, and Valli.
We will explore three Aromatics, three Chardonnays, and three Pinot Noirs, with each producer showcasing their own interpretation of these varieties and the distinctive personality of the Waitaki Valley.
