I love this store. The staff are so helpful and have broadened my experience, introducing me to some wonderful new wines. I only wish I lived closer so I could get to tasting evenings regularly!

I was coming home on Saturday 12/10/24 when a lady employee driving VINO FINO van of Clifton Terrace, Sumner decides shes not happy about giving way to 3 residents travelling uphill including myself after passing TWO signs stating to give way to uphill traffic....then proceeds to abuse me. Read the road code again love....

One of the wines I had delivered had a strong petrol taste and was undrinkable for everyone in our dinner group. When I returned them to the store I got a sour faced and patronising; “a lot of people like it”, and was grudgingly refunded for 3 bottles, but not the barely touched opened one. The TDN influence, (petrol taste), is a very divisive subject with wine drinkers, with many haters. They should have alluded to it in their wine description. I used to buy all my wine here, but haven’t been back since. .

Great selection. Easy online ordering, totally would recommend. I only bought a few bottles, but will return in case of need smth special or for events.

All the way in Christchurch, but occasionally order from this store as it has wines I like that I can't source elsewhere, at a great price too. Always great service, and will keep using them.

I had been searching for a very specific wine and I finally found it here. Not only did they have the wine I was searching for, they had a beautiful collection of other wines. If you are a wine lover, be sure to check out Vino Fino. The staff were very knowledgeable on the types of wine and the wine makers. I will be coming back again for sure.

Unfortunately I just think the service could have been friendlier. I knew what I wanted so should have been an easy customer so started telling my list to the not overly friendly person who asked me if I was ok. They didn’t have everything I wanted which I was fine with but then the two people at the till didn’t even say hello or offer any sort of acknowledgement which I think is quite rude. This was my first time in and I just felt like it should have been a little better. I’ve always thought these guys were the Ballantynes of the Christchurch Liqour scene but the inside just reminded me of a pop up warehouse. Sorry team, but I think you could look and be better.

Possibly the best wine shop in New Zealand. I've been coming here for 11+ years. Excellent, interesting wines at a range of price points; friendly, personal and knowledgeable service. If the wall of Sauv Blanc, Pinot Gris, Shiraz and Pinot Noir at the supermarket doesn't do it for you, you need to sign up for Vino Fino's email. They work hard to get sharp prices on very good wines.

Been a longtime customer here. Great range with reasonable prices. Free delivery over $150 if order online which is even better. Keep an eye on their deal and usually you can find some really great deals
