"From Skypunch vineyard, which lies on the slope next to Home vineyard on Black’s Ave. We’re leasing and managing Julianne and Conor’s vineyard here and we’re excited. In conversion to organic with BioGro 5202.
Aromas of preserved lemon citrus, flint, almond, cardamon, and ginger. The palette is structured and vibrant with unique saline tension. Flavours of new season pear and apricot, white peach and vanilla bean. Un-fined, unfiltered."

"Fragrant and aromatic bouquet with scents of fresh yellow apple and pear flesh, there’s a touch of cider and pilsner adding depth and a natural mineral quality. Fresh, plush and juicy on the palate with flavours that mirror the bouquet, medium+ acid line and balanced, chalky finish. Well made, ideal as an aperitif or with fresh seafood or pasta. Best drinking from 2023 through 2028."

Black Estate is a family-owned winery located in the North Canterbury region of New Zealand, known for producing some of the country's finest cool-climate wines. Excellent wine store! Probably the best in town. You can find wall kinds of wine and from around the world. I even found a wine from my hometown Uruguay which is not easy to find at all on this side of the globe.

Possibly the best wine shop in New Zealand. I've been coming here for 11+ years. Excellent, interesting wines at a range of price points; friendly, personal and knowledgeable service. If the wall of Sauv Blanc, Pinot Gris, Shiraz and Pinot Noir at the supermarket doesn't do it for you, you need to sign up for Vino Fino's email. They work hard to get sharp prices on very good wines.

An amazing selection of wine from pretty much all over the planet! Price are decent too and for sure if you are good at spotting the right wine can get some amazing wines to a more than fair price! Parking is a bit of an issue but worst come to worst can park at the south city carpark and walk 100m!
