"With meticulous cluster selection in the vineyard, followed by individual berry grading at the winery, we have crafted a Pinot Noir that is quintessentially Dry River—classic in every sense.
Irresistibly moreish with radiant sweet fruit at its heart—bright, floral, and brooding with earth, moss, vine bark, and the signature of our old vines speaking through the soil. Fragrant spices emerge, including whispers of anise. Black cherry and soft black doris plum unfold with suppleness and generosity, carrying incredible length across the palate. The wine is succulent and full-bodied, with vanillin oak beautifully framing the fruit. Smoky toast rises like rain steaming off a hot road, grounding the wine's elegance in place.
Beneath the fruit and charm lies a substantial structure—a framework that will allow this Pinot Noir to broaden and polish through bottle age, building complexity as hydrolysis unveils layers of aromatics over time. The texture speaks to our terroir; minerality provides the skeleton, while the wine's architecture ensures graceful evolution.

"Ripe, complex and savoury pinot noir with black cherry, raspberry, violet, cracked pepper, olive, sweet spice and warm earthy minerality carefully contained within a softening blanket of vanilla pod and cinnamon. The palate is velvet in texture with a surprisingly bright acidity which lifts the wine and brings all of its myriad flavours into focus. The elegant flow is underpinned by considerable energy which drives right to the very long, grainy and floral finish. Poised and detailed with notable finesse, although it is no more than medium-bodied, there is clearly power here which will reward patience."
