"2022 in Martinborough was a cool vintage that produced wines of great focus and poise. Cooler nights meant the wines retained their natural acidity and offer a great expression of the site in which they were grown. Pinot Blanc is a rare variety that is known for its spicy subtle flavours and its ability to truly reflect its terroir. Settled juice was fermented in old French barriques, where it was aged for 4 months to create a dry, soft style of wine that is immediately accessible upon release or will cellar for at up to 5 years.
Stone fruit and white peach jump out of the class, with spicy floral notes along with almond kernel also apparent. A savoury note on the pallet entwines with a backbone of fresh acidity, creating a lighter body wine that is fresh and delicate. A perfect accompaniment for white fish and lighter meals."

"A restrained yet engaging, vinous bouquet with sophisticated, subtle aromas of lemon curd pie, chevre, cream cheese, vanilla, toasted brioche and almonds. Rich, textured and well-weighted palate with ripe, gala apple flavour and taut, lemon acidity adding balance before a long, satisfying finish. An impressive example of the variety."

Excellent wine store! Probably the best in town. You can find wall kinds of wine and from around the world. I even found a wine from my hometown Uruguay which is not easy to find at all on this side of the globe.

I had been searching for a very specific wine and I finally found it here. Not only did they have the wine I was searching for, they had a beautiful collection of other wines. Possibly the best wine shop in New Zealand. I've been coming here for 11+ years. Excellent, interesting wines at a range of price points; friendly, personal and knowledgeable service. If the wall of Sauv Blanc, Pinot Gris, Shiraz and Pinot Noir at the supermarket doesn't do it for you, you need to sign up for Vino Fino's email. They work hard to get sharp prices on very good wines.

An amazing selection of wine from pretty much all over the planet! Price are decent too and for sure if you are good at spotting the right wine can get some amazing wines to a more than fair price! Parking is a bit of an issue but worst come to worst can park at the south city carpark and walk 100m!
