Winery notes (2024 Vintage)
"The alluvial gravels, silts and glacial deposits at our Lowburn site lend themselves to a more delicate Chardonnay – floral yet focused, an amalgam of fruit purity and minerality, with a slight use of French oak. A beautiful expression of site and variety in this single vineyard Chardonnay.

Lemon sherbet, pear, white nectarine and lemon curd notes on the nose. The palate has bright citrus and pear notes with a bright acidity that lingers and provides some balanced structure. The wine is rich yet balanced and highlights the white fruit notes from our Lowburn vineyard. Vintage 2024 saw a chardonnay with slightly higher acidity which will reward aging but also balances the intensity of the white fruit characters in the wine."
