Gold Medal – Aotearoa Regional Wine Competitional 2025
Winery notes (2024 Vintage)
"Fragrant with jasmine florals and sweet perfumed notes, fresh apricots and mandarin peel, gingerbread spice and hints of toasted brioche. The palate is textural and opulent with delicious spice richness and concentrated fruit flavours. Perfectly balanced acidity gives a juicy long finish."
5 Stars & 93/100 Sam Kim Wine Orbit, February 2026 (2024 Vintage)
"It's delightfully fragrant on the nose, showing ripe apricot, citrus peel, warm spice, and floral aromas. The palate displays excellent weight and a plump mouthfeel, well supported by fleshy texture and gentle acidity, finishing soothing and lingering. At its best: now to 2028."
Rated Excellent & Cameron Douglas MS, February 2026 (2024 Vintage)
"Floral, fruity, varietal and nicely complex bouquet with scents of apricots and spice, fresh pomaceous apple fruits and a clay mineral idea. Dry, creamy with a silky touch, medium+ acid line and length. As the wine opens out in the glass the flavours intensity adding weight and length. Delicious and ready to drink from 2026 through 2029. Serve cool and definitely not cold, just to curb the warmth of alcohol on the finish."
