Sauvignon Blanc

The introduction of ten humble Sauvignon Blanc cuttings to the Marlborough region in the 70s created an explosion of spectacular growth that has driven the dramatic rise of New Zealand as a respected wine grower on the world stage. A good “sav blanc” will deliver eyebrow-raising levels of intense aromatic flavours – a hit of crisp, vibrant freshness. Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc covers a zesty-fresh flavour range including red and green capsicum and tropical passion fruit, with other regions of Martinborough, Nelson, North Canterbury and Central Otago all offering their own unique takes. A distinctive gooseberry zestiness underpins all the local flavour variations, the signature characteristic that helped create a global wine sensation. Discover what all the fuss is about!
