We know how good Hawkes Bay 2021 reds are. Winemaker Ant MacKenzie has his fingers stretched across the Hawkes Bay and was able to access fruit from some of the top vineyards for this own label wine. This is such a pleasurable wine – dark fruits, hints of baking spice with plenty of palate weight and presence, yet finishing soft and supple.

"This unique Syrah is grown on the Kimestone Hills above Havelock North. Traditionally crafted and matured in French oak barrels this wine showcases a density of aroma and purity of concentration on the palate. Fine grained fruit tannins give the palate structure and balance the opulence of the fruit and oak."
