"Notes of Spring from the brambly currant aromas. In the mouth, juicy driving citrus and ripe golden fruit supported by earthy passionfruit skins and seeds – embedded in the flinty river gravels so typical of this site. A perfect constellation of fruit – tannin – acid. Full bodied, textural and intriguing. We love this wine."

"Distinctive with a mineral and citrus led bouquet. Aromas of fresh mayer lemon and apple, some white peach and grapefruit, stony soils and fresh sage. A fine saline texture and fresh citrus fruit flavours touch the palate first, then flavours of green herb and gooseberry, apple and citrus pith. A delicious wine with an equally enticing mouthfeel as it is fruity and varietal. Pure and fresh, dry and real. best drinking from 2022 through 2025+."

The Boneline is a family business who started planting in 1989, continuing to craft wine exclusively from this original vineyard, in their own winery. They were one of the early Waipara vineyard pioneers, recognising the areas potential as a premium wine region.

Boneline's location was selected on the basis of meeting rigorous selection criteria: frost-free micro climate, north-facing and north of the Ashley River, with a limestone and gravel base. Grape varieties have been matched to the sites across four unique levels of terraces to maximise grape potential.

Boneline's Cellar Door offers seated tastings, a sharing-style snacks menu, a library wine selection (previous vintages), and a wine store. They also host weddings and events.

On weekends a Vineyard walkway is open for cellar door guests to walk the property and learn about the various blocks (there are 22 signs along the way).
