Garnacha or Grenache is beloved for its attractive spice and sweetness. This example displays some minerality, lifted strawberry and raspberry fruit and a whisper of fresh thyme. Silky and full-bodied, it’s a hard one to put down.

Hand harvested from 40 year-old Garnacha (Grenache) bush vines vines in southern Spain and made in a modern, clean, opulent style. 

Bodega Navarro López was originally founded at the start of the 20th Century by Don Juan Sánchez. The company is still in family hands and they understand that success in a good wine starts with the choice of the best parcels of vineyard. From fifth generation family estate Navarro Lopez, Rojo is genuinely one of the world’s great wine values.

"Great colour, concentration and bouquet filled with scents of dark plums and spices, there’s a meaty gentle smoky quality, violets and a touch of earth. A dry wine on the palate with no oak, packed with ripe red and dark red fruit flavours, freshness and style. The palate easily dissolves the structure elements of fruit tannins and acidity leading to a balanced , even finish. Well made with best drinking from day of purchase through 2029."
