A ripe and succulent Rioja from a legendary producer. Telmo Rodrigues is a leader in modern Spanish wine but his home is on this Rioja estate called Remelluri. Along with his sister Amaia, Telmo has begun transforming their dozens of contract grower relationships in two nearby villages by bottling them separately. Compared to the Atlantic-side Labastida, the San Vicente's Mediterranean-leaning conditions make it fuller in most years due to its drier and more ferrous soils. A great companion and a rare glimpse of Rioja terroir.
94/100 Zekun Shuai, JamesSuckling.com (2021 Vintage)
"This is defined by the steely and spicy edges to the aromas and flavors of chalky black cherries, violets and blackberries. Firm, dusty tannins coat the medium- to full-bodied palate, with mineral tension at the end. Drink or hold.."

92+/100 Luis Gutierrez, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (2020 Vintage)
"The 2020 Lindes de Remelluri Viñedos de San Vicente de la Sonsierra is more fruit-driven, primary and perfumed than most of the other bottlings, juicier, with a sensation of higher ripeness (despite having lower alcohol, 13.79%) and slightly dusty tannins. The breakdown here was 88% Tempranillo, 10% Garnacha and 2% other varieties. 68,422 bottles produced. It was bottled in April 2022. Drink 2023 – 2028."
