Top Riesling from the Eden Valley. Pewsey Vale consistently set the bar high and 2025 vintage is no exception. Offering aromas of fine dried herbs, white florals and freshly cut citrus. The palate displays a combination of fresh rosemary, white pepper and tropical fruit. There's great length and depth, finishing with clean and balancing natural acidity.

"Riesling is our single focus. We make nothing else. So naturally, our undivided attention goes into one thing – making the best Riesling year on year. Since 1847, we’ve consistently delivered world class, award-winning Riesling. It’s all we know. Needless to say, we know our stuff. But we can’t take all the credit. Our single site vineyard located within a heavenly slice of the Eden Valley, lets nature do its thing, so the need for human intervention is minimal. In fact, it’s very rare that a vineyard is this complete, creating a Riesling that’s simply delicious.

Pale straw with green hues. Intense aromas of fresh lemons, grapefruit and limes with some floral notes and a hint of fine dried herbs. A long, rich palate reminiscent of lemons, limes and fresh rosemary. The wine finishes with soft natural acidity which balances the flavour and minerality that is delicious now or will reward medium to long-term cellaring. Enjoy with fresh oysters, seared scallops, salt and pepper squid, Thai beef salad, or a tomato salad with pickled walnuts and fresh basil."

"This wine marks another debut appearance in our Best In Show selection – for Eden Valley Riesling, though we've featured Eden Valley Shiraz/Syrah here in the past. It's a young wine and light on its feet (just 11.5%). Riesling here manages, remarkably enough, to deliver full-season fruit complexities at this strength since phenolic ripeness continues, in the High Eden's skeletal soils, even after sugar ripeness has slowed, including in very warm vintages like that of 2025. It's an enticingly aromatic wine with a tumble of blossom blowing about an aromatic core of zesty lemon, lime, fresh dessert apple and early season nectarine. On the palate, the wine is bright and tangy with racy apple and rhubarb acidity; it has ample mid-palate wealth and poised texture, then the blossoms come blowing back to lift its brisk, mouth-freshening finish. Its Eden Valley pedigree suggests that this beautifully vinified wine will age well, too."

What a beautiful example of Eden Valley Riesling is this estate Pewsey Vale wine. The nose is intense lemon with a minerally bath salts character, while the palate has that lemon rind edginess, balancing the deeply intense, linear and focused fruit that emerges from this high-altitude block. It retains a degree of tension with a slightly talcy character, and the finish is long and fine. Excellent wine."

"Easy drinking, crisp and fresh, limey, juicy, a little skittish with saline minerality, but you’d generally say ‘textural and pleasing’ as a glancing approach. Diving in deeper, a touch soapy and mouth-perfume floral, similarly yeasty-floral to sniff on; that being said, a big chill, a crisp-edged glass, a bucket of prawns or some har gow and you’d be all good."
