"An exquisite nose of nectarine, citrus blossom, fennel, praline, sourdough and yellow-fleshed plums. Crystalline and bracingly fresh, the palate is all nervous tension and intensely pure orchard fruit, delicately balanced by toast bread lees complexity and a creamy mousse. Powerful, focused and luxurious, this is The Griffin in all its finery.

The fruit is handpicked and lightly pressed with 5% fermented in old oak barrels and aged on primary lees for 8 months. It is then tiraged and left for 36 months on lees in bottle before being disgorged. Hand picked, 50:50 blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from our Pinnacles and Woolshed Vineyards."

"A complex bouquet of finesse and intrigue, spice and ripe fruits then an oatmeal and biscuity autolysis framing scents of peach and red apple, some honeysuckle and white spice. Fascinating and fresh on the palate with a core of lees with oatmeal flavours and citrus framed by a crisp and saline mousse, volumous yet fine. Well made with excellent length and complexity. A wine that reflects its origins too. Best drinking from 2026 through 2032+."

"Gorgeously styled and expressed, the bouquet presents aromas of white-fleshed peach, Gala apple, lemon peel, oatmeal, and savoury pastry, followed by a finely flowing palate that offers a creamy mouthfeel, backed by crisp acidity, and finishes persistently and refined. Wonderfully harmonious and balanced with enticing complexity. At its best: now to 2032."
