"A refined expression of Marlborough, the Hãhã 2024 Reserve Chardonnay showcases depth, texture and balance, shaped by an outstanding vintage and thoughtful winemaking. Lifted aromas of white nectarine and ripe citrus are layered with delicate floral notes, leading into subtle characters of toast and spice from carefully integrated French oak. The palate is full-bodied and luxurious, unfolding with stone fruit richness, citrus zest and savoury complexity. Extended lees ageing brings a creamy brioche texture through the mid-palate, finishing long, poised and beautifully structured.

After gentle whole-bunch pressing, the free-run juice for this Chardonnay was fermented in French barrels which consisted of 20% new and 80% seasoned oak. The wine underwent full malolactic fermentation, followed by 15 months aging on yeast lees before bottling."

Nice weight and creaminess on the palate with warming alcohol, medium+ acid line and satin-cream mouthfeel overall. Balanced and well made, a wine ready to drink from the day of purchase through 2028+."
