"This wine offers a range of aromas including lemon zest, red apple and brioche. The palate is ripe and juicy with citrus and peach flavours, a soft texture and a lovely, clean acidity. A deliciously pure expression of Chardonnay highlighting the variety’s natural fruit characters together with some richness and balanced by a fresh acidity.

This is a single vineyard wine from our Chaytors Road property close to the coast in the Wairau Valley, where the sea breezes moderate temperatures. The grapes are half 25-year-old Mendoza clone and half six-year-old vines of the newer 548 clone."

"An enticing, familiar and fruity expression with scents of wood spice and stone fruits, lots of apple and grapefruit peel, a light leesy complexity, blossom and mineral outline. Dry with near full-bodied mouthfeel, flavours of white fleshed stone fruits and citrus, some baked apple and pear. Vanilla and cream and a light raw cashew nut idea. Well made with medium length, best drinking from day of purchase through 2029+."
