"Born in Spain and raised in a casino. Ace Kicker is estate grown and bottled at Finca Constancia, part of the González Byass ‘Familia de Vino’. Designated as a Vino de la Tierra de Castilla, our Big Bet Blend is crafted from six varietals selected from six vineyards, then aged 8 months in French and American oak. The result is an ace-kicking red blend that is perfect with steaks, or with winning hands.

Ace Kicker Big Bet Blend 2018 shows intense cherry colour with a violet rim. On the nose it’s expressive and fruity. Mature red fruits stand out such as plums, cherries, strawberries and redcurrants, over a base of violet flowers and roses. After some airing in the glass spiced aromas from the oak begin to appear such as clove, cinnamon, vanilla and a slight touch of tobacco and toffee. On the mouth it is round and creamy. The blend of varieties brings a velvety sensation from the sweet tannins. It is a wine with pleasant fruity and spicy sensations, mineral and clay aromas arise that delight our senses. Its persistence is noticeable and its aftertaste is long and intense."

"This is splendidly fruited and richly expressed on the nose, showing Black Doris plum, mixed berry compote, vanilla bean, cocoa and cake spice aromas, leading to a concentrated palate that’s wonderfully weighted and lingering. It’s opulent and mouthfilling with loads of appealing flavours, finishing impressively long and velvety. At its best: now to 2024."

It was 1835 when a youthful Manuel María González Ángel embarked on a long career in the world of wine. Tradition, innovation, sustainability, and the search for excellence are his legacy.

González Byass has stayed true to its roots whilst also moving forward to offer the best wines and spirits all over the world. This commitment has seen them grow to 14 wineries in Spain, Chile, and Mexico, as well as a range of prominent spirits.

Accordingly, the 21st century began with the acquisition of Finca Moncloa, where the old traditions of making quality red wines in the province of Cadiz are kept alive alongside the recovery of the forgotten indigenous variety, Tintilla de rota, and then continued with the acquisition of the Croft, Viñas del Vero, and Pazos de Luscowineries.

Following the innovative spirit of the founder of González Byass, they built the Finca Constanciawineries in the heart of the province of Toledo.

In recent years González Byass has purchased Veramontein Chile, Pedro Domecqin Mexico, and their latest acquisition, Dominio Fournier, in the heart of the Ribera del Duero. Over this period they have increased the spirits family through the creation of their premium gin ranges, The London Nº 1 and MOM, and Nomad, their whisky made and aged in Scotland and finished in Jerez.
