"Excellent colour with distinctive medium density red-purple hues. This wine shows the hallmarks of a medium bodied Cabernet Sauvignon; intensity of fruit flavour yet balanced and elegant. True Cabernet fruit flavours of blackberry and mulberry bring liveliness to the palate. classic coonawarra fine tannins emanate from both the grape and subtle French oak. This very attractive wine is elegant from start to finish."

"Plush generosity has been a consistent hallmark of Bowen Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, and this dark, luscious wine is no exception. Ripe plum enjoys a warm embrace with rich blackcurrant, supported by redcurrant, ample dark chocolate, olive and a pinch of nutmeg. Supple tannins allow the plush palate to sashay luxuriously along a long catwalk. Its open-hearted generosity as a young wine belies its potential to keep developing smartly in the cellar."
