"Unapologetic in character, singular in expression. Grown on our warmest, windiest site at Lovat Vineyard — from the esteemed Colmar clone of Alsace. Planted in 1992 on our warmest, windiest site, this Gewurztraminer grows among large rocks on the lowest terrace at 33m elevation — 6m below Craighall and the Estate. From the esteemed Colmar clone of Alsace, the warm 2025 season promoted a soft and broad polish to the underlying matrix of savoury phenolics, allowing a grace and lightness to this opulent variety.

Lychee, marmalade, kefir lime leaf, and rose petal perfumes float effortlessly from the glass. The warmth of the 2025 season lends a soft, broad polish to the underlying matrix of savoury phenolics — chamomile tea and vanilla cream characters from front to back, with a grace and lightness that belies the opulence of the variety.
