"A beautiful garnet hue with aromas of black currant, strawberry, pomegranate, and rose petals with a whiff of white pepper and struck flint. This unique bouquet is followed on the palate with fresh basil, cardamom, allspice, strawberry, and tart cherry. The wine is ethereal and complex with fine tannins and incredible persistence, finishing with distinctive salinity. Intense fragrance, unique savoury undertones, and electric energy are the hallmarks of Valli Waitaki Pinot Noir and the 2024 vintage has added depth and concentration. Mesmerising at release, this wine will continue to develop for 20+ years."

"Fantastic bouquet of power and intrigue with definitive scents of North Otago’s chalky limestone soils, red berries of dark cherry and raspberry, black currant moments and savoury dried herb seams. A dry wine on the palate with a delicious squeeze and salivating effect driven by the acid line and abundance of tannins. Fruit flavours remain a constant, a lengthy, youthful and complex example. Best drinking from 2029 through 2040."

"Medium crimson, slightly lighter on the rim. The nose is deep, with aromas of raspberry, cranberry, cherry, liquorice, hibiscus and flinty smoke. Medium-bodied, aromas of cherry, raspberry and cranberry, intertwined with hibiscus, flintstone, liquorice and a touch of black pepper. The wine has a creamy flow, with lively acidity carrying tightly woven, silky tannins. The red fruit core is enriched by tannin extraction and layered with subtle spices. This Waitaki Pinot Noir possesses a concentrated red fruit core with ethereal floral notes, showcasing the limestone soils with flinty minerals and enticing acidity. Match with pork belly and braised duck over the next 15+ years. Fruit from Grant's Road, fermented with 11% whole bunches, aged 11 months in barrels, 25% new oak. 13% alc."
