"There is something about this wine that is so bloody captivating and it has an ineffable quality to it. Clare is known for its eucalyptus herbaceous signature, and that really shows in a unique way in Mallee Gambit. This is definitely the most ‘sour cherry’ Nero we make – the classic tasting note for the variety – but there is a jubey, green edge to it. Think Shiso Leaf. We’re really getting used to this vineyard and in our fourth year of making it, we’ve hit our straps. A beautifully balanced acidity, the structure is super fine-grained and slatey. A distinctly unique Australian Nero D'avola."
We provide a door to door delivery service nationwide. Delivery charges are calculated on a 12 bottle case or part there of.
Delivery charges are calculated during the checkout process based off your address post code. Please ensure you choose the correct post code. We will advise you if you have chosen the incorrect post code.
You may also choose to 'pick up' your order from our wine shop at 188 Durham Street South, Christchurch.

Note, for orders of 1 - 2 bottles we charge an additional $6 for packaging. To ensure the safety of the bottles we use specially designed posting boxes.

Excellent wine store! Probably the best in town. You can find wall kinds of wine and from around the world. I even found a wine from my hometown Uruguay which is not easy to find at all on this side of the globe.

I had been searching for a very specific wine and I finally found it here. Not only did they have the wine I was searching for, they had a beautiful collection of other wines. Been a longtime customer here. Great range with reasonable prices. Free delivery over $150 if order online which is even better. Keep an eye on their deal and usually you can find some really great deals

Possibly the best wine shop in New Zealand. I've been coming here for 11+ years. Excellent, interesting wines at a range of price points; friendly, personal and knowledgeable service. If the wall of Sauv Blanc, Pinot Gris, Shiraz and Pinot Noir at the supermarket doesn't do it for you, you need to sign up for Vino Fino's email. They work hard to get sharp prices on very good wines.
