"Made with 60% Syrah and 40% Pinot Noir. The grapes were meticulously picked and then 24 hours allowed on skins. The Syrah fruit adds lovely texture and spice, while the Pinot Noir which gives classic strawberries and cream characters. Made with serious intent – its smooth, crisp and concentrated.

Medium-bodied, dry to taste, aromas of strawberry and cherry melded with roses, a hint of savouriness and spice linger to a long finish. The mouthfeel is creamy and broad with delicate phenolics added texture and richness. Lively acidity brings a refreshing, dry closing."

"Bright, even, medium berry pink with a burnt orange hue. The nose is full, packed with fragrant aromas of raspberry, rose, marinated cherry and black pepper. Medium-full bodied, dry-ish to taste, aromas of raspberry and marinated cherry melded with rose and black pepper. Zingy acidity carries bright fruit and flows effortlessly along a fine-textured mouthfeel. A fresh, juicy Rosé with rich fragrance and substance. Match with beef salad and tuna tartare over the next 2-3 years. A blend of Syrah and Pinot Noir, on skins for 48 hours, fermented to 12.5% alc, BioGro organic certified."

Terrace Edge is a (Chapman) family owned and (whole family) operated organic vineyard and olive grove overlooking the Waipara River from its south bank.

Like so many other Waipara Valley growers, grape types have been matched to growing locations that will bring out the best in its qualities, with the 'healthy-soil-first' ethos framing the whole enterprise.

Besides wine, Terrace Edge also grows olives in groves planted by the Chapmans when they converted their property from a sheep farm.

Visitors can book wine and food experiences at the Terrace Edge Tasting Room and take part in a masterclass of wine and food pairing.
