Winery notes (2023 Vintage)
"Dressed in bright red with a regal purple edge, Estate Syrah 2023 exudes aromas of red plum and dark cherry cola accentuated by hints of smoke, pepper, and nutmeg. The palate unfurls with ripe boysenberry and raspberry fruit, nuanced by undertones of chocolate, and toasted vanilla oak. A sumptuous wine in harmonious balance Estate Syrah 2023 culminates in a long and lingering, savoury finish."

5 Stars & 95/100 Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, October 2022 (2021 Vintage)
"Stunningly beautiful, showing Black Doris plum, blueberry, floral, cedar and mixed spice aromas, leading to a powerfully graceful palate that’s juicy and fleshy. The wine has excellent depth and concentration, wonderfully framed by loads of finely woven tannins. At its best: now to 2031."
4 ½ Stars Michael Cooper (2021 Vintage)
"Offering fine value, the 2021 vintage is arguably the best yet. Estate-grown in the Dartmoor Valley, the Bridge Pa Triangle and the Gimblett Gravels, it was matured for a year in French oak barrels (partly new). Deeply coloured, with a fragrant, spicy bouquet, it is full-bodied, with concentrated, fresh blackcurrant, plum and spice flavours, showing excellent complexity, vigour and depth, and obvious potential for cellaring. Best drinking 2025+."
92/100 Gary Walsh, The Wine Front, October 2022 (2021 Vintage)
"Toasted hazelnut, peanut shell, pepper, Turkish apricot, blueberry and ripe raspberry. Medium-bodied, fleshy, sooty tannin, crushed herb and a subtle green charter set among spicy blue fruits and cocoa, closing with a dry wheaty finish solid length. No mistaking the grape variety here, and offers ease of drinking with a fair amount of complexity. Good."
