"A bouquet of complexity, power and muscle with scents of roasted plums and baking spices, smoky leesy layers, violets, five spice and dark clay soils. Plenty of weight and power on the palate too with warmth and generosity of fruit, dark berries and plum, five spice with a touch of charred wood. Firm tannins and acidity ensure a sound structure frames the fleshy fruit flavours. Youthful and taut with a lengthy and exciting finish. Best drinking from 2029 through 2039."
