"A bright lemon-straw colour in the glass, with a very fine, persistent, bead of bubbles. The perfume starts with citrus peel, yellow plum and cherry, moving to a baguette crumb and nougat toastiness, and then with a final flourish of jasmine and orange blossom. The palate is fresh, with both delicacy and depth. Threaded with a zesty acidity, the fruit is juicy and notes of nutmeg and allspice show as layers open up. The balance is very well judged – with the energy from that acidity in harmony with a chalky minerality and a creamy, silken texture. A calm, well-crafted and elegant drop."
