Trophy for Champion Rosé – New Zealand International Wine Show 2020
Double Gold Medal – New Zealand International Wine Show 2020
From the foothills of Mount Brown in the Waipara Valley comes this delicious Rosé made from Tempranillo, Syrah and Pinot grapes. Very much in a strawberries and cream style – fruity with a touch of sweetness, balanced by a long crisp finish.
Winery notes (2020 Vintage)
"This delightful Rosé has strawberries and cream aromas, a touch of sweetness followed by a long crisp finish. Full of life and flavour. Made with the saignee process from Tempranillo, Syrah and Pinot it underwent a cool ferment after 24 hours on skins, resulting in a fruit forward wine with beautiful colour. We love it with summer salads, light pasta dishes or seafood. But often a Rosé is just perfect on its own on a warm summers evening."
NZIWS (2020 Vintage)
"Like a pink sapphire in hue, its bouquet captivates with abundant aromas of summer berries. The deliciously juicy and refreshing taste is just off dry with lashings of strawberries, raspberries and tropical fruit balanced by sweet mandarin-like acidity with hints of red apple and musk."
