"Rendition is a blend of Central Otago vineyards and subregions. My quintessential Central Otago Pinot Noir, my Rendition of a given vintage. The 2023 Rendition Cuvee is blended from ultra premium fruit sourced from Lowburn, Gibbston and Bendigo vineyards.
The 2023 Rendition showcases a label by New Zealand Street Artist Component. This artwork was spray painted on board. Component’s design highlights the various elements of my favourite things: the Central Otago landscape, Southern Alps, vivid sky, vineyards, people and colours that evolve over a given season."

"Richly fruited with seductive complexity, the wine shows dark plum, dried herb, game and roasted nut aromas with a hint of mushroom. We provide a door to door delivery service nationwide. Delivery charges are calculated on a 12 bottle case or part there of.

Note, for orders of 1 - 2 bottles we charge an additional $5 for packaging. To ensure the safety of the bottles we use specially designed posting boxes.

Matt Connell Wines, established in 2016, showcases the unique characteristics of Central Otago’s exceptional vineyards. Each bottle is crafted with precision, reflecting a deep commitment to the fruit and the land. The wines are celebrated for their richness, complexity, and balance, embodying the best qualities of the region.
Their Pinot Noirs are a highlight, known for their fruit-forward style, complexity, and silky tannins. Fermented in small batches using a mix of wild and inoculated yeast, these wines are then matured in French oak for 10 months, capturing the nuances of each vintage. The Chardonnay, inspired by the famed Chablis region of France, is barrel-fermented with a touch of new oak, resulting in a wine with balanced fruit, fine acidity, and great length.
Matt Connell’s wines consistently garner high praise, regularly receiving five-star reviews and prestigious awards. The Rendition Pinot Noir has been particularly lauded, winning Champion Wine of Show and Champion Pinot Noir at the New Zealand International Wine Show for multiple vintages.

I had been searching for a very specific wine and I finally found it here. Not only did they have the wine I was searching for, they had a beautiful collection of other wines. If you are a wine lover, be sure to check out Vino Fino. The staff were very knowledgeable on the types of wine and the wine makers. I will be coming back again for sure.

Possibly the best wine shop in New Zealand. I've been coming here for 11+ years. Excellent, interesting wines at a range of price points; friendly, personal and knowledgeable service. If the wall of Sauv Blanc, Pinot Gris, Shiraz and Pinot Noir at the supermarket doesn't do it for you, you need to sign up for Vino Fino's email. They work hard to get sharp prices on very good wines.

An amazing selection of wine from pretty much all over the planet! Price are decent too and for sure if you are good at spotting the right wine can get some amazing wines to a more than fair price! Parking is a bit of an issue but worst come to worst can park at the south city carpark and walk 100m!
