Raisins Gaulois Gamay, natural wine, organic fruit, lip smacking, fun red from acclaimed Beaujolais family. From the famous Lapierre estate, now run by Marcel’s son and daughter. This is superb fresh crunchy young Gamay, a wine that is ideal for summertime drinking with a picnic munching some cheeses and salami with bread. It is fresh, vibrant and natural, and above all, fun to drink. The Gamay provides authentic Frenchness and little red fruits; carbonic maceration and low sulphur bring the wine alive and tingle on the tongue. Delicious stuff!

"Raisins Gaulois, translated as “Gallic grapes,” is a Vin de France produced from our young vines. Our desire was to produce a wine that was accessible both in terms of taste and price. With it’s lively, fruity and easy-drinking character."

"This entry point to the Marcel Lapierre range will please fans of natural wine looking for value. The colour is light, and the wine presents notes of raspberry and pomegranate touched with hints of earth and wild herbs. The texture is also light, with wispy tannins, fresh acidity and a modest finish. The wine is from purchased fruit, but much comes from the area of Morgon; the growers grow, but the domaine's team picks the grapes."
