We have always rated Lawson's Pinot Gris and this 2023 is right up there with some of their best. Deliciously lush, yet dry and highly drinkable our bets are on this to become a firm favourite this summer.
Winery Notes (2024 Vintage)
"A perfect blend of pear, stone fruit, and attractive floral aromas, this wine is a symphony of flavours. Hints of spice and lemon curd add a touch of complexity to the palate, while the just off-dry and medium-bodied texture delivers an unparalleled taste experience. Enjoy the lovely flavours of orchard fruits coated in a supple texture, ending with a fresh and uplifting finish that leaves you craving more."

92/100 Cameron Douglas MS, April 2024 (2023 Vintage)
"A very attractive bouquet with scents of white pepper dusted nectarine, pear and yellow apple and a fine lees quality. Just dry as the wine touches the palate with a satin-smooth texture, flavours of white fleshed fruit to mirror the bouquet, there’s a fine citrus quality accentuated by the acid line. A core of fruit mid palate, balanced, well made and ready. Best drinking from late 2024 through 2028+."
4 Stars Cuisine Pinot Gris Tasting 2023 (2022 Vintage)
"Youthful and ripe with pears, apricots and bright florals on the nose and through the juicy palate. The fruit intensity is excellent and the purity of fruit is evident. A wine with presence and persistence on the finish."
4 Stars Michael Cooper (2021 Vintage)
"The attractively scented 2021 vintage is a basically dry style (4.6 grams/litre of residual sugar). Pale lemon, it is full-bodied, with strong, vibrant peach, pear, lychee and spice flavours, fresh acidity and very good delicacy and harmony. Drink now or cellar."
