Winery notes (2022 Vintage)
"The Barossa is famous for its viticulture, history and winemaking dating back to the 1840s. At its heart is the Valley Floor, a highly-prized strip of viticultural land which is the very foundation and forms the essence of this wine. A true taste of the Barossa
Rich and lifted aromas of Satsuma plum, mulberry and floral notes mingle with sweet spice, chocolate and savoury hints. Rich, plummy fruit and sweet spice balanced by soft velvety tannins. A complex, medium-to-full bodied wine showing hints of mocha, bramble and vanilla which flow through the long, fruity, and spicy finish. 11% new American oak, 5% new French oak and 84% seasoned American and French oak hogsheads for 24 months."
91/100 Gary Walsh, The Wine Front, May 2025 (2022 Vintage)
"A bold wine, and what you might call ‘modern traditional’ in style. Black fruit, dark chocolate, mint, toasty vanilla and coconut oak. It’s full-bodied, lots of flavour, acidity a little lively perhaps, grainy open-weave tannin, black fruit and toasty oak with a dry finish of good length. A wine that knows its audience (not that I’m suggesting that it’s sentient)."

92/100 Stuart Knox, The Real Review, February 2023 (2021 Vintage)
"Deep ruby red with mulberry, coffee, and vanilla bean aromatics. Classic blue and purple fruits fill the mouth, its full bodied and weighty but ample dark mineral savouries ensure it shows character and balance. Tannins have a gravelly edge to them that accentuates the savouries, and it ensures line and length to the flow. Good value and will reward cellaring."
Joelle Thomson, drinksbiz Magazine, September 2024 (2021 Vintage)
"South Australia is home to some of the world's most approachable smooth, seductively fleshy, full-bodied reds, and this powerful Shiraz is one of them. Complex aromas of caramel, spice, and hints of red pepper add depth to the taste spectrum. An impressive wine and very good value for money."
Aussie Shiraz Tasting, Dish.co.nz, March 2022 (2019 Vintage)
"“A very nice wine with plenty of dark fruits and spice contrasted with texture and crispness,” noted Cameron, while Yvonne was wowed by its palate awash with pomegranate, blackcurrant and spices. “Sublime tannins and outstanding balance, freshness and character,” she added."
