Arguably the greatest white grape from Piemonte, the region of Italy’s indisputably greatest red grape. Timorasso has an alluring aroma of white flowers, citrus and stone fruits. On the palate it shows minerality and a texture not unlike that of Chenin Blanc or Riesling. Like both of those grapes it ages extremely well. Made by Elisa Semino, affectionately and, in our opinion, justifiably known as the “Queen of Timorasso”
92/100 Raffaele Mosca, Decanter UK, February 2023 (2021 Vintage)
"While being La Colombera’s entry-level offering, this wine usually proves exceptionally ageworthy. Keep it aside for at least two years. Youthfully subdued aromas of zesty herbs, bitter almonds, lemon peel, and flint anticipate the tight and streamlined progression of this archetypal Timorasso. Piercing acidity camouflages the substantial mid-palate concentration and lingers on the mouthwatering finish, extended by savoury and phenolic hints."

"Crisp and herbal, with a lovely fresh bite and bright citrus fruit on the palate. A palate-whetter with tension and length. Just a slight nutty impression on the finish."
