This is a staff favourite, and with good reason. Not your entry level Pinot Grigio, this wine has great texture and length the elevates it above the pack. Italo Cescon is a family owned and operated winery, established in 1957 in the Fruili region of north-eastern Italy.

Only the best grapes from three single vineyards are used. 50% of the juice is “free run” (i.e. unpressed). The wine spends 6 months on the lees in stainless steel and a further 3 months in the bottle before release. It presents an elegant nose of peach, citrus and woody spices. Delightfully fresh and fruity on the palate it pairs well with a wide variety of foods.

The name tralcetto refers to the grape stem that adorns each bottle.

"Straw yellow in colour. Intense, lingering fragrances nutmeg and vanilla, peach and ripe tomato and acacia blossom. Dry and crisp, ripe, aromatic fruit, with hints of orange zest, mirroring the nose. A wine of exceptionally full flavour, lengthy and elegant."
