A gorgeous Bordeaux blend from a top class producer in the heartland of the super-Tuscan style, Bolgheri. The vines are an average of 20 years old, grown in a gentle Mediterranean climate on a windy and sunny plain 100m above the Tuscan coast. This vine health is preserved by organic farming, low yields, and hand-harvesting, to produce a Super-Tuscan of real character and harmony for the price.

"This is really classy, with refined tannins that run the length of the wine, providing great poise and balance. It's medium-bodied with focused and precise redcurrants and raspberries, together with cedar and light spice. Very long and beautiful. From organically grown grapes. Drinkable now, but give this two or three years to come together."
