Winery notes (2022 Vintage)
"Colour of intense dark cherry with a violet edge. Intense nose, dominated by ripe red fruits (raspberry, currant) together with spicy and mineral notes. A very fresh and fruity wine, full-bodied, pleasantly tannic with a light spice on the finish. Wine of great versatility that can be paired with soft dressing salads, spoon stews, jelly-like meats, pasta, mushrooms, charcuterie, white and blue fish, soft cheeses, goat cheeses, white and red meats, roasted lamb and / or pork."

"Herbal and fragrant, the smell of crushed oregano and fresh marijuana leaves almost overwhelming the jammy sweetness of wild raspberries. It's a wine that tastes as if the vineyard is surrounded by aromatic scrub and herbs – maybe it is. It's a heartbeat wine; the fruit lands in tiny red-jewelled kisses, droplets, and there is a thrum, like cicadas singing as a hot summer wind rustles through leaves. Really transparent. Garnacha, untroubled by too much winemaking and wood, is a wonderful transmitter of place. I wish more winemakers would simply make this kind of wine instead of seeming to feel that they must produce an over-made 'icon' wine in order to be taken seriously."
