"Pale bright straw gold. White flowers on the nose, typical of Bendigo Chardonnay. On the palate, stone fruit notes, vanilla and brioche. Long finish, recommend to age for at least 5 years.

From our China Terrace vineyard in Bendigo, this Chardonnay is crafted from handpicked grapes and whole-bunch pressed. Fermented in French oak barriques and puncheons (18% new) with indigenous yeast and 100% malolactic fermentation, it spent 14 months on barrel. This wine beautifully showcases the character of our organic vineyard."

"Aromatic and pretty, this has long flavours of just-ripe apple and honeysuckle fringed with vanilla and macadamia. The palate is energetic and long with juicy acidity providing the frame for its sweetly delicate flavours to permeate through to the deceptively long yet refreshing finish. A surprisingly lithe and light footed chardonnay which has the phenolic grip and concentration to reward ageing, despite not being a blockbuster. Expect this to develop slowly over the next decade as it gains savoury, nutty depth"
