Over a century has passed since Don Melchor, the winery's founder, created a legend. When he discovered his finest Concha y Toro wines were missing, he spread the word amongst the local villagers that the devil lived in his cellar. From that day, the wine has been known as Casillero del Diablo, the devil's cellar. And the wine thieves remain deterred.
Casillero del Diablo Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon is an intense red ruby colour. Aromas of gorgeous and lovely bright cherry, blackcurrant and dark plum with toasted oak. Medium bodied with silky tannins and long, ripe fruit and berry aftertaste, with impressive balance of fruit and polished tannins.

"One of those mass-market wines that rarely, if ever, lets you down, this 26 million bottle blend from Chile’s biggest producer uses grapes from Maule, Rapel and the Maipo Valley. Subtly wooded, with classic blackcurrant pastille, mint and fresh herb flavours and a whisper of oak spices. Outstanding at the price."

"Fruit forward and attractively fragrant, the bouquet shows blackcurrant, bay leaf, clove and toasted almond characters, leading to a robust palate that's juicy and lingering. Well structured by polished tannins, making it sturdy and flavoursome. At its best: now to 2027."
