"Lying at the convergence between 3 distinct geological ages, Clos Henri has one of the most distinctive soil morphologies in the Marlborough Valley. Paying homage to these unique terroirs and revealing the true nature of these wines is the ultimate objective of the Bourgeois Family. Our Single Vineyard cuvées tell the story of the simplicity and elegance offered by the confluence of glacial and windswept terroirs.

Named for the Waimaungan Glaciation period that was instrumental in forging this unique terroir, this Sauvignon Blanc has an intense generosity on the palate which is followed by a textural, saline finish."

"Still very coltish and youthful, brimming with energy and spark. Dry, with a subtle spice on the nose that sits over some intriguing notes of sweet tropical papaya, jasmine and mango, but also greener flavours of asparagus, mangetout and cucumber. The palate has a broad textural feel, offset by more of that signature minerality – a flinty, terracotta. The back of the palate has plenty of weight and some drying, pithy phenolics."
