Fragrant violets, highly concentrated blackberry & spice | hints of white pepper & a seasoning of finely textured smoky oak.”
Rated Excellent & 94/100 Cameron Douglas MS, September 2025 (2024 Vintage)
“There’s no mistaking the vibrant purple hues and powerful bouquet of raspberry and boysenberry fruits, blackcurrant, spices of peppercorn and dried herb then barrel and earth-smoke scents of stone and dry clay. A dry wine with an immediate impact of fine tannins and backbone of acidity delivering a firm palate squeeze then contrasting core fruit flavours that mirror the bouquet. Taut and youthful, a wine that needs some cellar time with best drinking from late 2027 through 2035+.”
