"Delicious wine deserves to look delicious too! Our Blackbird Sangiovese has had a facelift – now featuring one of the unconventionally beautiful works by UK based illustrator Helena Perez Garcia. Helena has kindly granted us the rights to use her work on our wine and the repackage is stunning!

As for the wine itself – a delicious iteration of this traditional Italian varietal, grown in the southern end of the Clare Valley. Bright red fruits and crunchy acid balance the appealing softness of this release. This is classic, food friendly vino – best enjoyed with large plates of shared grazing / Italian family style antipasti, charcuterie and cheeses or Spanish tapas."

"A fine local Sangiovese from the Clare Valley, with entirely new packaging, this is a delicious drink which is also excellent value. An appealing cherry red hue, the nose exhibits notes of warm earth, tomato bush, spices, red cherries and raspberries. There is good energy here, bright acidity and fine satiny tannins. A wine of decent length, it will provide pleasure for the next five to six years. Perfect for the Friday night footy or an upmarket barbecue with family and friends."
