Dominated by beautiful old vine Grenache grown in the arid climates of Aragon, southeast of Rioja, the Siendra 2021 paints a visual picture of the region with every sip. Old Vine Grenache is raised on the stony soils of Chapillon's Calatayud vineyard, with additional backbone provided by Cabernet and Syrah. It has a magnificent acid lift, fine minerality and has been softened by 12 months in French oak.

"Bright magenta-violet colour, with medium depth. Fruit aromas of ripe blackberry, black plum and black cherry are balanced by fresh herbs, pepper, baking spices, balsam and aromatic notes of sandalwood. Bright flavours of raspberry and cranberry appear on the palate, with firm tannins and a palate that evolves towards a finish of fresh herbs and spicy spices. Medium-bodied, this is the perfect everyday sipper for fans of Rhône and Syrah-inspired blends."
