96/100 International Wine Challenge 2021 (2006 Vintage)
"Youthful for a 2006, this is a classic, well-defined Blanc de Blancs with nutty autolysis. A rich toasty Champagne with clear honeyed developed character retains admirable freshness on the finish. A core of citrus acidity and lovely palate length".
Taste France Review (2006 Vintage)
"With this vintage, Cellar Master Elisabeth Sarcelet sought to bring out all the rich expression of Chardonnays grown in two terrains, the Côte de blancs and the Montagne de Reims, thus creating a subtle, harmonious play on contracts. Over 10 years' cellar ageing has enriched the aromatic potential of this wine, enhanced by a beautiful fresh finish.
A subtle creaminess is lightly underscored by a fine bitter chocolate note, in the mouth the character of this cuvée is rounded and complex with great length. Nature was very generous in 2006 and left her mark on the exceptional Chardonnays used to produce this vintage blanc de blancs champagne. This cuvée, with its exceptional ripeness and purity, can only be described in superlative terms".
93/100 Roger Voss, Wine Enthusiast, January 2020 (2006 Vintage)
"From a selection of Chardonnay vineyards, this Champagne has tight crispness along with a balanced minerality. The green apple and ripe pear flavours are shot through with citrus to yield a textured, fruity wine. Drink now."
