Gold Medal – New World Wine Awards 2024
Winery notes (NV)
"Fine bright perlage and light rosé colour. Delicate and complex bouquet with fruity notes that remind of peach, green apple and lemon. Floral notes of acacia and rose. Fresh and light on the palate, with balanced acidity and body. Round and full bodied structure. Enjoy rosé bubbles as an aperitif but excellent with fish soups, grilled fish and courses based on mushrooms."
5 Stars & 93/100 Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, November 2022 (NV)
"This is instantly appealing on the nose with watermelon, apricot, crunchy apple and white floral aromas. The palate delivers elegant weight and fine flow, beautifully complemented by creamy mouthfeel and refreshing acidity. Fabulously drinkable. At its best: now to 2025."
Gold Medal – Best Sparkling Wine for Christmas – Yvonne Lorkin, Dish.co.nz, November 2023 (NV)
"Salmon-pink and crammed with Panettone dough, fresh cherry, red apple, cranberry and melon alongside a whisker of pepper and spice, it boasts a round, plush palate, yet it's also crunchy-crisp, perfectly prickly, and cleansing to finish. Super stylish."
4 Stars Cuisine Prosecco Tasting, November 2024 (NV)
"An attractive pale pink in the glass with lots of aromas of berries and cream set against honey and florals. The palate is flavoursome and complex with ripe-fruit flavours and a long, fresh lip-smacking finish"
91/100 Cameron Douglas MS, December 2022 (NV)
"Aromas and flavours of peach and sweet orange, some mineral and very fine lees qualities. Balanced, fresh, crisp and dry on the palate. The mousse is fresh and lively and along with the acidity carries the peach, apple and sweet orange flavours. Balanced and well made with best drinking from day of purchase through 2025."
5 Stars & 18.5/20 (93) Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Reviews, June 2021 (NV)
"Bright, even, pale peach-pink, consistent subtle fine bead. The nose is subtle and soft, nuances of strawberries, peaches melded with a hint of creaminess. Medium-bodied, aromas of strawberries, peaches entwined with lemon sherbet and a little floral, underlined a lightly creamy background. The wine has good depth of flavours and layers, assembled by lush fruit and florals on a lively acid thread. Match this with grilled calamari and tomato base seafood/ pasta over the next 2-3 years. A blend of Glera and Pinot Nero, 11% alc."
Huon Hooke, The Real Review, November 2021 (NV)
"I am not a great appreciator of prosecco, either local or Italian, but this is quite charming and very good value. The fancy bottle is a bonus! It has a light salmon-pink hue and a vigorous head of fine bubbles. The aromas suggest candy floss and toffee apple, the flavours very light and straightforward, with the merest tickle of sweetness before a crisp, drying finish. There’s a slight grip on the aftertaste which enhances the final dryness and appetising effect. It’s good value.
