"Made from 100% Tempranillo fruit aged for 36 months in American oak and held for five years before release and now with some decent age under its belt – what's not to like. Bold and powerful with spicy fruit and mellow tannins Rioja Reservas really are a law unto themselves and given half a chance the oak just melts into the aged tertiary flavours harmoniously."

"A core of cherry then red with an amber hue and rim lead to a bouquet of complexity, baking spices and dries red fruits and leather. Give this wine time to open out in glass, it will surprise you with its fine integrated textures, tobacco, dried fruits, drying flowers and bitter-chocolate flavours. Five spice and aged meats, a whisper of coconut, velvet tannin textures, medium acid line and lengthy earthy finish, a delicious wine that is ready to drink. Best from day of purchase through 2030."
