A classic Barolo in the Azelia style that is vibrant and deep, delicate but concentrated. This regional blend is a perfect drink-younger example of the genre that you can age for some decades.

"An impeccable balance. A mix of 7 different single vineyards. Castiglione Falletto and Serralunga d’Alba match here in a superlative way. Aroma and finesse with power and body at the same time. Sweet nose, with hints of cherry, black currant and licorice. Fruity tannins. A union of characters. Aged for two years in large casks."

"Always assembled from seven sites within the villages of Castiglione Falletto and Serralunga d’Alba, Azelia’s Barolo takes Cerretta and Bricco Voghera in the latter as its base. Freshness on the nose presents as rosehip, cranberry bush, violet and pomegranate. The palate follows with might and exuberance: rich dark raspberry melds into layers of ripe, soft tannins. Underlying brightness and tangy acidity keep this vivacious, while tea leaf and nutmeg prolong the finish. A classy and immediately satisfying Barolo. Drink 2025 – 2035."

"An engaging bouquet of red currant and plum, pine and mint, dusty dried blood and cinnamon. Lovely fruit definition. The core of subtle fruit sweetness flows throughout the palate, bright and succulent, some light spice and meaty savouriness, the tannins ripe and providing grip in a good way. A very classic expression of Barolo, approachable now with suitable protein or give it a few years in the cellar. Drink 2025 – 2038."
