Halcyon Days

Halcyon Days is a winemaking venture by Amy and Olly Hopkinson-Styles, who create exceptional certified organic wines from Te Matau a Māui, Aotearoa (Hawke's Bay, New Zealand). Their wines are known for their energy and tension.

The grapes used for Halcyon Days wines are sourced from the BioGro-certified organic Osawa and Two Terraces vineyards. These vineyards are located in the Mangatahi subregion, where the soils are loam over gravel alluvial, formed by the Ngaruroro Moko-tū-ā-raro-ki-Rangatira river. The winemaking process is characterized by a natural, hands-on approach. The fruit is handpicked and undergoes natural fermentation. The final wines are unfined and unfiltered, with no additions, reflecting a commitment to minimal intervention and a pure expression of the grapes and their terroir.
