Winery notes (2024 Vintage)
"Crios was born out of Susana Balbo’s love for her children and desire to forge a legacy for her family, helping them navigate their own life journeys with lessons learned from a lifetime of trailblazing entrepreneurship. The iconic symbol of overlapping hands on each Crios bottle represents the family bond, as well as the transformative power of hands—the ability to connect, cultivate the land, prepare a meal, or craft each wine with love and care. With every bottle that reaches your hands, we aim to share this conviction and passion. In our commitment to quality, we carefully select
A Chardonnay with a golden colour and greenish highlights. On the nose, it is very aromatic, with a floral profile and subtle tropical notes. It primarily reveals hints of white flowers and citrus. The contact with the lees makes it very full-bodied on the palate, complemented by an elegant acidity.
Hand-selected grapes, destemming and soft crushing. Fermented at 12°C (54°F) for 20 days with selected yeasts. In contact with the lees for three months. 50% of the wine is aged in second- and third-use oak barrels."
