Tastings

Vino Fino runs weekly wine tastings most Tuesdays at 6.00 pm at our Christchurch store on Durham Street.

These informal tastings cover a variety of themes and include visiting winemakers, special focus tastings highlighting a varietal or new arrivals. All you need is to be able to enjoy wine!

Bookings (email or in person – sorry not online) are required for these – Credit card details required at the time of booking, with payment on the night. Please advise if not attending as we usually have a waiting list. Note we accept cancellations up until 5pm the day before the tasting, otherwise, the card will be charged for any “no shows” Thank you.

Importer and regular visitor to France, Jean- Christophe brings his in-depth knowledge and passion to the wines of France. His annual tastings here are always the fastest tasting to fill up each year – so don’t sleep on it if you are wanting to come along! From dry white, then through the appellations of Pomerol, St Emilion, Medoc and of course we’ll finish with a Sauternes.

Rockburn Wines are one of the most well-respected wineries in Central Otago. Tonight, we will taste through their current releases including the impressive Eleven Barrels Pinot Noir, Twelve Barrels Pinot Noir, The Art Pinot Noir and newly released Crimson Peak Pinot Noir along with the Stolen Kiss Rose, Rockburn Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
