Vino Fino runs weekly wine tastings most Tuesdays at 6.00 pm at our Christchurch store on Durham Street.

Imagine arriving at a winery cellar door and being welcomed straight into a guided tasting, complete with the “top shelf” wines and perhaps even a little something special from “out the back”. Hosted by the winemaker, marketing manager, or even the owner themselves, you get the inside story on the people, the place, and the wine.

Sounds special? That’s exactly the experience you can expect at our Vino Fino tastings, whether you’re a curious newcomer or a seasoned regular.

Bookings (email or in person – sorry not online) are required for these – Credit card details required at the time of booking, with payment on the night.

Please advise if not attending as we usually have a waiting list.

Note we accept cancellations up until 5pm the day before the tasting, otherwise, the card will be charged for any “no shows” Thank you.

A very special tasting to celebrate Organic Wine Week, featuring wines from the exceptional Wrekin Vineyard in Marlborough.

We’re delighted to welcome wine legend Hätsch Kalberer (ex-Fromm) and Ashleigh Barrowman, who both make wines from Wrekin Vineyard — Hätsch with Wrekin Wines and Ashleigh with Siren Wines.

Wrekin Vineyard may not yet be familiar to all our readers, but it is one of Marlborough’s highly regarded sites. Alongside producing its own wines, the vineyard supplies fruit to some of the region’s leading producers. It’s a truly special place, capable of producing some very special wines.

We’ll taste our way through a range of Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir along with a couple of other treats. We’re really looking forward to this one.
