Winery notes (2019 Vintage)
"Medium dry in style, Juliet Riesling is thirst quenching with a delicious mouthfeel. Aromas of mandarin peel and orange blossom are mixed with subtle vanilla bean and white floral notes. Delicate and pure with a slight quinine tonic type texture, releasing pithy citrus flavours of lemon curd and Cox’s Orange. This Riesling has a delicious mouthfeel and nicely coats the mouth without being cloying.
After the warm, dry summer 2019 was an amazing vintage with pristine fruit, small berries, and great concentration. Sourced from our Brookby Hill Vineyard, the fruit was hand harvested and had 24 hours skin contact before being lightly pressed. The cool fermentation was stopped when the sweetness and acidity were in perfect balance. The wine then rested on yeast lees for three months to gain texture and palate weight. The acidity, texture and minerality of this wine interplay harmoniously."

"Evocatively scented, hinting of apple and rose spice, with an exciting vibrancy to the zingy taste. It’s flinty and slatey with spiced apple and lime and a delightful shimmer of sweetness to the mouthwatering finish."

5 Stars & 94/100 Sam Kim, Wine Orbit (2017 Vintage)
"From the Southern Valleys district, this is an exquisite rendition; the delicately expressed bouquet shows lime sorbet, mandarin, apple blossom and a hint of flinty notes. The palate delivers excellent focus and fine texture, together with fabulous fruit purity and subtle sweetness, brilliantly structured by juicy acidity. At its best: 2018 to 2025."
5 Stars & 18.5+/20 Raymond Chan, December 2017 (2017 Vintage)
"Bright pale straw-yellow colour, near colourless on the rim. The nose is gently full and voluminous with aromas of limes and tangerine fruit, with exotic florals, honeysuckle and delicate aromas of musk. The aromatics are expressed with finesse and stylish intensity. Medium in sweetness and light-medium bodied, the palate has subtly rich and luscious flavours of citrus fruits, exotic florals, honeysuckle and musk. The flavours form a rounded but concentrated, tightly bound heart with fruit extract and fine phenolic textures. The mouthfeel has bright, refreshing acidity, and the wine carries to a sustained, soft-textured finish od exotic citrus and floral fruit with delicate musk notes. This is a gently rich, taut and concentrated, fine-textured medium Riesling with citrus, floral, honeysuckle and musk flavours on a refreshing palate. Serve as an aperitif, and with Thai, Vietnamese or Japanese cuisine over the next 4-5+ years. Hand-picked fruit from the ‘Brookby Hill’ vineyard, vines 70 y.o., WBP and cool-fermented to 11.0 % alc. and 20 g/L RS, TA 7.4 g/L and pH 2.97, the wine aged 4 months on fine lees. 550 cases made."
92/100 Jamie Goode, March 2018 (2017 Vintage)
"This is from the Brookby Hill vineyard. Two picks. The first block is picked early for freshness, while the second is picked two weeks later and is soaked on its skins for 24 hours. Very pretty, textured and floral with a hint of sweetness. Some Turkish delight and melon, and a bit of phenolic grip. Very attractive."
